Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Remote Account Clerk. As an integral part of our finance department, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This is a remote position, and the candidate should be comfortable working independently and collaborating with team members virtually.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Daily reconciliation of bank accounts with the system, adhering to SOPs and contractual obligations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, showcasing your analytical skills.
  • Handle misapplied and non-negotiable payment instruments with finesse.
  • Ensure timely return of payment instruments directed in error or not accepted.

Requirements:  

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in data entry, including keyboard, mouse, and a 10-key pad.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and a working grasp of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to collect, research, and analyze data effectively.
  • Independence and teamwork skills – you can shine individually and as part of a team.
  • A knack for meeting stringent schedules and timelines.
  • Efficient management of corporate and project resources.

Education and Experience:  

  • Candidates must possess either an Associates Degree or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A solid two years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related fields, or a combination of education and experience that equips you with the needed skills.
  • Monday,             6:30 am-5:00 pm
  • Tuesday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Location: Remote
Successfully pass a drug screening, background investigation and fingerprinting.
