Administrator of Catholic Schools Operational Vitality

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position facilitates growth of Catholic school faith communities by collaborating with Catholic elementary and secondary schools in development and advancement, facilities optimization, financial health, and marketing and enrollment, supporting the mission of the Office of Catholic Schools. This position is responsible to carry out the assigned general duties as needed to implement the Catholic philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Office of Catholic Schools in the service of Catholic education. Specifically, this position assists the Superintendent and Office of Catholic Schools team with strategic decision-making in collaboration with Catholic school leaders and parishes to ensure efficient and effective school operations, compliance with regulations, and management of resources to help Catholic schools thrive.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Reflection of official Catholic teachings and values in his/her personal and professional life by an expressed commitment and witness to the Gospel as well as respect for Catholic tradition through participation in community worship, willingness to perform Christian service and to work for Christian justice
- Bachelor's degree in business management, education, financial operations, or related field is required
- Experience with strategic planning, marketing, and/or financial operations is required
- Knowledge of best practices in school tuition, tuition assistance, marketing, finances, and advancement
- Knowledge of technology applications to support the duties of this position
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional, Catholic approach to carrying out all job-related duties and responsibilities
- Dynamic interpersonal skills to relate to various stakeholders (i.e. school leaders, school boards, Office of Catholic Schools and diocesan Curia personnel)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present facts and recommendations
- Confidence presenting to various constituents
- Proactive identification and evaluation of potential problems, critical vitality indicators, and measures for long-term operational success and sustainability
- Work collaboratively with others to meet project deadlines and needs
- Willingly interact with various governing school and parish bodies to advance Catholic school objectives in operational vitality
- Make decisions in accordance with federal and state laws, diocesan regulations, and school system policies and procedures
- Organize workflow and coordinate activities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships in schools, parishes, and Curia
- Act with professional discretion; work with and safeguard sensitive and confidential information
- Work closely in a team environment
- Be flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of the institutions being served in this ministry
- Valid driver's license required
PREFERRED:
• A practicing Catholic who is familiar with the Church's structure, functions, and institutions
