Audiologist - ENT Practice at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Audiologist provides auditory assessment and care using standardized testing procedures, operating independently within hospital and departmental policies. This role requires a Doctorate of Audiology and a Washington Audiologist License, preferably with outpatient experience. The position is part of Providence, a comprehensive healthcare organization focused on patient-centered care and professional growth.

Description

The Audiologist shall perform services requiring basic knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral, psychological and sociological sciences as relates to the auditory system. The Audiologist utilizes standardized procedures in the testing, monitoring and observation for the auditory assessment. The Audiologist is directly accountable and responsible to the consumer for the quality of auditory care rendered. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • AuD - Doctorate of Audiology
  • Upon hire: Washington Audiologist License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in outpatient setting
