Job Description

Cassidy Advisors and Accountants LLC is a tax accounting firm located on Hilton Head Island. We are seeking a part or full-time bookkeeper. This position could be in-person or remote. The ideal candidate would be a bookkeeper with an accounting degree or concentration and at least five years of professional bookkeeping experience. Accounting firm experience is a plus. This person must be people-oriented and a team player. Great communication skills are a must to work effectively with a group assigned to the account to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information.

Responsibilities include:

• general bookkeeping
• preparation of profit and loss, balance sheet, statement of cash flows and other financial reports
• reconciliation of books to tax returns
• bank reconciliations
• sales and use tax return preparation
• payroll processing
• preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and filings

Recommendations are required for this position.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferred
• Experience including general bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, bank reconciliations, sales and use tax, and payroll, preferred
• Excellent QuickBooks skills, both desktop and QB online, min. 5 years required
• Excellent Excel skills, required
• Excellent time-management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• If remote, must have at least two years remote experience in a bookkeeping position

Salary/Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
