Metal Stud Framer – Immediate Hire in Hamburg, NY

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Metal Stud Framers for an immediate start in Hamburg, NY

• PAY: $26-35hr (based on experience)
• HOURS: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
• WEEKLY HOURS: 40+ hours per week
• START DATE: Immediately
• DURATION: 1-month project (could go longer)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Metal Stud Framer

• Installs the light-gauge steel framing that forms the structure for interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and partitions in commercial buildings.
• Reading blueprints and layout drawings to determine wall locations.
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal studs and track systems.
• Securing studs with screws, fasteners, and anchors to create framing for drywall and other finishes.
• Making sure walls are plumb, square, and properly aligned.
• Coordinating with other trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) to leave space for systems.
• Working with power tools such as screw guns, chop saws, and lasers for layout.
• Often installing backing or bracing for doors, windows, and fixtures.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Job requires proper use of PPE: Hard Hat, work boots, safety glasses, and hi vis vest
• Must have basic tools for the trade
