About the Role
The Company is seeking a CEO of the Foundation and Vice President of Advancement to lead and manage fundraising strategies from diverse sources, including individual, corporate, and foundation giving. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing unique and effective fundraising approaches, maintaining a donor portfolio focused on major gifts, and supporting the institution's capital campaign efforts. This role requires an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to design innovative fundraising initiatives, and a proven track record of leading teams to success. The VP will also be an active member of the President's Cabinet, collaborating with the leadership team and the Board, and will oversee marketing and PR initiatives to drive fundraising efforts. Applicants for the CEO of the Foundation and Vice President of Advancement position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of relevant experience, including time in a management role, and a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience. The role demands a highly energetic and passionate individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, who is adept at working in a highly collaborative environment. The VP will be expected to travel as needed for professional development and donor meetings and should have experience with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software.
