Clinical Research Associate - Oncology

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Research Associate is a grant-funded role responsible for conducting clinical trials across various solid malignancies to identify the optimal platform for ctDNA use.
  • Lead the execution of existing protocols by meeting milestones, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with physician leads, extenders, research staff, and trial sponsors.
  • Establish IRB-approved registries to track patient participation in clinical trials and research initiatives.
  • Co-author manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals; assist in manuscript preparation and abstract submissions for national and international conferences.
  • Develop new research concepts into protocols to implement best practices.
  • Create educational outreach programs with local healthcare providers and community organizations to raise awareness of ongoing research and clinical trials.
  • Participate in tumor boards, relevant conferences, research meetings, and service line meetings as directed.
  • Collaborate with the CRC assigned to protocols to assist with data entry for tissue registries .


Minimum Qualifications: .

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a BA, BS, or equivalent degree
  • Foreign Medical Graduate - Postdocs
  • Experience conducting research within a clinical or preclinical setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent team player, collaborator, and contributor to the larger goals of the research from an operational level


Preferred Qualifications

  • Training and experience in statistics.
  • Presentation experience at scientific meetings.
  • Record of peer-reviewed publications.
