National construction firm TI Builders is currently searching for an experienced commercial construction Superintendent in Boston, MA. This opportunity requires 5 years experience in the commercial construction industry and a thorough understanding of managing day-to-day operations on job sites.

Duties

• Distribute updated plans and details to subcontractors.
• During the project, coordinate with subcontractors and their Project Managers/Estimators as needed when scope revisions are requested or required.
• Understand quality control and the ability to maintain it throughout the project.
• Physically capable of lifting and operating a variety of hand and power tools.
• Skilled with a variety of tools and equipment.
• The ability to clean and maintain a variety of equipment and perform small repairs and routine maintenance.
• Draft send and distribute RFI to architects or engineers.
• Approve subcontract change orders when discussed with Project Manager
• Update client weekly on schedule progress, outstanding issues, job status.
• Meet with or discuss with contracted subcontractors to confirm scope materials, and methods prior to their start date.
• Through understanding of Microsoft Project.
• Ability to work with Gantt chart project schedule, and skilled knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Dropbox document filing system.
• An understanding of job-site safety.
• Must have reliable transportation (a truck is preferred)
• Must be available and able to work varying shifts.
