VIKAND is a leading maritime solutions company that specializes in matching top-of-the-line medical talent with our high-profile cruise client ships. We are currently looking for experienced Ship’s Doctors and Ship’s Nurses with passion for their jobs and with cruise ship experience.

For this Post, we are looking at Doctors with English as well as a good level of Italian.

The Physician requires the following credentials:

Current registration and valid EU licensure to practice Medicine ; NON ITALIAN PASSPORT ; EU PASSPORT; Current ACLS or equivalent certification; Current PALS or equivalent certification (for ships with children only); Current ATLS or equivalent certification; Current Sexual Assault certification (can be carried out onboard); Level B1 / B2 Italian (intermediate) and at least B2 English; STCW Seafaring Certificates (Basic Training) will be a bonus but can be organised after interview if the applicant is sucessful.; Three years of post-graduate experience in General and Emergency Medicine or, Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; Training in minor surgical, orthopedic and procedural skills including: suturing and fracture/dislocation management, procedural sedation skills;
