Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Read music proficiently and play a brass instrument in a quartet or quintet
· Ability to play as a soloist at kettles
· Read music proficiently and sing a part in a quartet or quintet
· Travel to events throughout the Golden State Division
· Other duties as assigned by the Divisional Music and Worship Arts Director or Divisional Secretary for Program
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Able to play a brass instrument with proficieny
· Able to sing a part with proficiency proficiency
· Uniformed Salvationist currently attending a Salvation Army Corps
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (typically musial instruments or equipment)
· Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis.
EQUIPMENT USED:
· Musical instruments as required
· AV equipment as required
