Next Level is a locally owned repair company based in Hanover, PA, with a dedicated shop in Jefferson (Spring Grove, PA) and multiple mobile service vehicles. We proudly service a wide range of vehicles, from Class 8 trucks and trailers to RVs, passenger vehicles, and heavy-duty equipment, across South Central Pennsylvania, Baltimore (MD), Northern Virginia, and surrounding areas.
We are growing and seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in their work, values customer service, and is ready to hit the ground running.
What You’ll Do
As a Diesel Technician with Next Level, you will:
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, RVs, and passenger vehicles.
Work both independently and collaboratively to complete on-site mobile repairs and in-shop service.
Accurately diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems , using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Complete repairs safely and efficiently to minimize customer downtime.
Manage parts orders with vendors to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through dependable service.
Accurately complete company paperwork and service documentation.
Perform road calls and emergency repairs in all weather conditions when required.
Use time management skills to handle multiple assignments and stay on schedule.
Perform minor welding/fabrication (MIG/Stick) when needed.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of hands-on experience in truck and trailer repair (required).
Strong background in diesel engine repair, diagnostics, and maintenance .
Experience working on electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, and general mechanical repairs .
Own professional-grade tools, including a toolbox/cart, multimeter, and diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL license is a plus).
PA Safety Inspection License & Emissions License highly preferred.
ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions.
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work without direct supervision.
Schedule
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility on start times).
Occasional weekends to support customer needs.
