Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Location: Kansas City, MO

Duration: Direct-Hire

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | Onsite

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, materials, and teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, each valued at $5 million or more.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate and order all necessary materials, ensuring timely delivery and minimal delays.
• Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project efficiency and quality.
• Manage and document change orders in accordance with project goals and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project progress, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with local codes.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in electrical project management, overseeing projects of $5 million or more.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and local building codes.
• Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Expertise in risk management, change order negotiation, and material procurement.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
