Position: Warehouse Team Member

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming materials, breaking down pallets of materials for delivery. Packing or repalletizing materials per shipping orders. Loading, unloading trucks, and getting freight dims & weights. Maintaining a clean, well-organized warehouse.

Responsibilities and Daily Duties May Include:

• Arriving at work on time.
• Load/unload vehicles
• Assist in the checking of all freight for proper markings and take exceptions on all damaged freight.
• Maintain warehouse organization, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Preparing order requests
• Maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring inventory is clearly identified and stored in the correct location.
• Assisting Drivers as needed
• Securing vehicles, buildings and gates as required
• Promoting good business relations with customers and coworkers
• General cleaning & garbage removal
• Performing all other duties as directed

Qualifications and Skills

• Forklift experience required
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Good communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to follow directions.
• Quick learner with good retention
• Able to read labels.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, or as directed by management.
• May require bending, lifting, and stretching.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
