Essential Functions and Responsibilities


• Regularly communicate and execute the inbound unload plan with the receiving team
• Constantly communicate the inspection workload with the quality team
• Relentless focus on all material in the receiving area
• Thorough understanding of al l necessary items and their quantities needed by the quality team
• Continuous movement of all items "to/from" and "in/out" of the receiving/inspection area
• Coordinate and act as a tour guide for "on the floor" presentation of the facility
• Obtain/present/explain any data or procedural documents requested by the Auditors
• Correspond with clients regarding batch record release/review when necessary. ( i.e. Customer
owned products)


Qualifications


• High School Diploma is required ; Associate's degree is preferred
• Basic math skills, i.e. (adding, subtracting and percentage calculations)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a material handling position
• Manufacturing/Distribution environment prefer red
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Has high attention to detail
• Capacity to retain information
• Has excellent communication skills
• Must have thorough knowledge of our receiving/inspection process
• Capability of operating a manual pallet jack & lifting 50lbs regularly
• Good observation, organization, prioritization and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under tight deadline


Work Environment and Physical Demands


The Quality Material Coordinator role operates in a warehouse setting. This role frequently lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds as a team lift, adjusts body positions, including bending, reaching, stooping, standing, walking, turning, pivoting, and standing for long periods of time. The noise level is moderate to high. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, peripheral, and depth perception
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working in a non-climate controlled warehouse and will be exposed to temperature-related weather conditions. This role will operate near mechanical equipment such as conveyer belts and powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet riders
