What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a servant leader to a dedicated HR team. Lead, guide and support the Human Resource team, including Compliance & Benefits Manager and Talent Acquisition Supervisor.
  • Drive accountability, engagement, and company culture.
  • Align HR strategy with business goals.
  • Oversee compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Partner with leadership to enhance employee experience and organizational performance.
  • Operate with autonomy and confidence, taking the initiative to solve problems before they surface.
  • Take a genuine interest in employee experience and engagement. Use soft skills and communication to build trust across departments.
  • Support recruiting strategies, evaluate complex background checks, and ensure hiring aligns with company standards and values.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, workman’s compensation claims, benefits administration (including ACA/401k), and internal HR policies.
  • Provide timely, clear, and actionable HR updates to leadership and staff.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action and results
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • SHRM certification preferred
