Build a first-of-its-kind consumer mobile app that helps people unlock their potential.

Gallup is looking for a product-minded iOS engineer who takes initiative and action — someone who has built and shipped real consumer apps and is excited to launch a greenfield mobile product from the ground up.

We’re creating a new mobile experience to bring our products to a wider global audience. You’ll join a small, focused team where your code will shape the entire product to make a significant difference in people’s day-to-day lives.

What You’ll Do

• Build a modern, high-performance iOS app from the ground up
• Collaborate closely with design, product and back-end teams to rapidly iterate and launch new features
• Write clean, testable code using best practices in Swift, SwiftUI and Combine
• Optimize for performance, battery life, accessibility and responsiveness
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and team knowledge-sharing
• Stay up to date on iOS trends and bring new ideas to the product

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
• At least three consecutive years of hands-on iOS development experience required
• Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality, user-facing apps in fast-paced environments required
• Startup or big tech experience required
• Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, Core Data and iOS system frameworks required
• Deep understanding of modern mobile architecture, performance optimization and mobile security required
• Solid knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines and the Apple ecosystem required
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and back-end integration required
• Web or Android development, back-end experience, or knowledge of infrastructure preferred
• Experience building in-app purchase systems or social networks preferred
• A commitment to working on-site at a local Gallup workspace in San Francisco at least three days a week required

We also offer an estimated annual salary range of $135,000-$200,000 for this role. Salaries are based on a variety of factors, including an individual’s education, experience and skills.
