Role Responsibilities - Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' challenges and create individualized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional aspirations.
- Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and day-to-day activities.
- Collaborate with Diverse Healthcare Teams: Work alongside other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance and instruction on therapy techniques to encourage progress beyond the clinical setting.
- Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients moving towards their goals.
Qualifications - Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development is highly encouraged
Certifications Required - Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
