As a full-time sales team member, you will be responsible for end-to-end sales processes in our physical location in Newtown. Responsibilities:

Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their jewelry purchasing journey.

Utilize product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the perfect piece of jewelry to meet their preferences, needs, and budget.

Conduct product demonstrations and explain the features, quality, and value of various jewelry items, including diamonds, gemstones, engagement rings, and other accessories.

Assist customers with custom jewelry orders, ensuring their specific requirements are met and communicating with our in-house design team as needed.

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing accurate and timely information to build trust and establish long-term relationships.

Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, utilizing our point-of-sale system and adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that jewelry displays are attractive, well-stocked, and properly labeled.

Stay up to date with industry trends, new product releases, and competitor offerings, continually expanding product knowledge to better serve customers.

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment.

Participate in sales meetings, training, and workshops to enhance sales skills and stay informed about company promotions and marketing initiatives.

Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to accommodate customer needs and maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in sales, preferably in the jewelry or luxury retail industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers effectively.

Extensive knowledge of various types of jewelry, gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals, along with an understanding of jewelry appraisal and grading.

Passion for jewelry and a keen eye for aesthetics, recognizing the value and beauty of different designs and styles.

Energetic and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills, able to address customer concerns and find suitable solutions.

Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in handling transactions and maintaining inventory records.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contribute to a positive work culture and foster a supportive environment.

Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software applications.

Flexibility to work on Saturdays and accommodate occasional evening hours or special events.
