Overview Manager, Government Affairs & Policy Stakeholder Management — VF Corporation. Join to apply for the Manager, Government Affairs & Policy Stakeholder Management role at VF Corporation. The Manager of Policy Stakeholder Partnerships plays a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with key external stakeholders to achieve VF’s policy goals and objectives. This role involves developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies, fostering communication, and ensuring stakeholder input informs VF policy positions and external stakeholder strategies. Responsibilities Identify, engage, cultivate and nurture strong, positive relationships with policy stakeholder groups that support VF’s business objectives and policy positions, including multilateral institutions, intragovernmental and quasi-government organizations, trade associations, and others. Lead a regular, collaborative stakeholder analysis and policy mapping to pinpoint key stakeholders’ positions, interests, and the potential to align on advocacy opportunities. Understand key external stakeholder goals and strategies, determining if stakeholder objectives align with or oppose VF’s business goals and policy positions. Develop and implement engagement and partnership strategies relating to key policy topics. Participate in external task forces, working groups, committees, advisory groups, and other forums to represent VF’s interests and perspectives along with VF’s policy positions. Represent VF at key events. Act as external point-of-contact for VF with identified stakeholders. Oversee, with VF subject matter experts and the corporate communications team, the development of stakeholder engagement strategies and ongoing relationship management with critical stakeholder groups and associations. Coordinate outreach and representation with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and information exchange. Serve as a trusted advisor and facilitator, guiding discussions toward actionable outcomes that support VF’s priorities. Develop and maintain collateral, one-pagers, policy statements/guides, talking points, presentations, and advocacy materials. Drive internal alignment through collaboration with internal teams, departments, and project managers to support stakeholder engagement needs for various initiatives. Develop and implement methods for measuring the effectiveness of engagement. Monitor, track, and report on stakeholder engagement activities and their impact on VF. Analyze stakeholder feedback to identify key findings, recommend solutions, and inform future strategies. Maintain accurate records of stakeholder engagement activities in VF’s centralized database or system. Qualifications What do you need to succeed? The foundation skills you will need in this position include 5+ years of experience and professional achievements. While formal education in a related field is beneficial, we are most interested in your experience and accomplishments. Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, public relations, policy analysis, or a related field (5+ years). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and influence diverse audiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver in a deadline-oriented setting. Proven experience building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders. Experience working in a consumer product company is a plus. Location requirement: hybrid role, 3 days in office. Special Requirements Up to 25% travel by air and overnight (domestic and international), as required. Compensation & Benefits Hiring Range: $78,624.00 USD - $98,280.00 USD annually Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
