Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description Noticiero Telemundo Chicago is seeking a motivated, energetic, and creative General Assignment Reporter.
Responsibilities include: - Execute live shots in the field for various newscasts and digital content
- Research, write, produce, and report stories on deadline for television and digital platforms.
- Appear on camera - both live and recorded.
- Write and present stories in both Spanish and English on television and digital platforms.
- Conduct effective interviews and gather detailed information on assigned stories.
- Working as a team with a photographer as assigned.
- Pitch insightful, community reaching stories.
Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience as television reporter.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven track record of strong writing, storytelling, and live reporting skills
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required both written and verbal.
- General knowledge of news topics both local, national, and international.

- Must have a flexible schedule with ability to work any of a 24x7 shift and willingness to travel and work long hours and on weekends with short notice.
- Salary range: 85k-120k

- Ability to enterprise stories.
- Excellent writing and speech skills.
- Must be able to ad-lib effortlessly in various types of situations, particularly breaking news.
- Experience of working simultaneous on a web product
- Strong knowledge of digital and social networks in regard to content gathering, sourcing and distribution.
- Work in a positive team environment.
- Knowledge of WordPress and digital platforms.
