Hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week

Shift : 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Salary: $21.33 to $25.97 per hour and a 5% shift differential since your workday will start after 2:00 pm.

Job Description Custodian

Under direct supervision, to perform routine cleaning work in the schools, offices, and other facilities of the District, and to do related work as required.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

Positions in this class are entry level for custodial classes and may be part-time positions. They are typically assigned to swing and/or night shifts and may include weekend schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience: One year experience in custodial work.

Education: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.

Upon Conditional Offer of Employment:

  • DOJ and FBI Criminal Background Check
  • TB Test within the last 60 days (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667)
  • Complete district Mandated Reporter training, Sexual Harassment, etc.
  • Pre-Employment Physical Evaluation conducted through the District (Minimum 50 pounds)
