Sun State International Trucks is a locally-owned, full-service dealership retailing International brand trucks with five locations throughout Florida . We’re currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and precise Parts Manager for our Davenport location to lead a high-performing department and deliver outstanding customer service.
About the Role:As the Parts Manager , you will be responsible for running an efficient and profitable department through strong leadership, smart inventory planning, and a high sense of urgency to serve our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned parts professional to join a trusted name in the trucking industry.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily department operations
Hire, train, coach, and manage department personnel
Maintain a balanced inventory to meet customer demands
Evaluate customer needs and resolve issues professionally
Monitor and manage expenses and revenue to meet forecasted goals
Maintain competitive pricing strategies in line with market trends
Stay current on new vendor and supplier products
High School Diploma or equivalent
10+ years of experience in truck or automotive parts
5+ years of managerial experience
Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
Strong sense of urgency and customer focus
Ability to meet physical requirements of the position
Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, talk, hear, see, stoop, crouch, and kneel
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Manual dexterity for hands-on work
Visual requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
Work in a well-lit environment with exposure to outdoor weather conditions
