Physical Therapy Specialist

Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to state laws, company policies, and ethical standards to ensure high-quality care.
  • Continuously update skills through required Medicare, OSHA, and other continuing education initiatives.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to create customized treatment plans.
  • Meticulously document treatment plans, patient progress, and other required reports with clarity and punctuality.
  • Foster robust communication channels among staff, patients, and third-party payers to ensure coordinated and effective care.
  • Assist in team development and lead by example in both clinical and administrative functions.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • A degree from a CAPTE-accredited program is required.
  • Valid state licensure as a physical therapist.
  • Proven ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities like walking, standing, and reaching throughout the day.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical documentation and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, OSHA regulations, and other relevant healthcare compliance guidelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt treatments as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting regarded as a significant asset.
  • Advanced certifications or specialization in areas such as orthopedics or neurology.
  • Previous experience in developing patient care programs.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
  • Experience working with diverse patient demographics.
