Now Hiring: Full-time/Part-time Resident Assistant As a Resident Assistant at St. Claire Meadows Care Center, you will be integral to providing direct care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your empathetic approach and attention to detail will directly contribute to their quality of life. Key Responsibilities of a Resident Assistant: Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, serving meals, assisting with feeding, ambulating, transferring, turning, positioning, and toileting. Always prioritize the resident's dignity, privacy, and personal preferences. Maintain exceptionally clean, safe, and organized living conditions for residents, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment. This includes tidying resident rooms, changing linens, and assisting with personal belongings as needed. Accurately and thoroughly complete all required reports and records in a timely manner, meticulously documenting resident care provided, observations, and any changes in condition to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care within the interdisciplinary team. Perform all duties in strict accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines, specifically adhering to Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) regulations, as well as St. Claire Meadows Care Center policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of resident safety and care. Proactively observe and report any changes in residents' physical, mental, emotional, or behavioral condition to the Unit Manager or charge nurse promptly and effectively. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises as directed by their individual care plans. Engage residents in meaningful social interactions and activities, promoting their independence, socialization, and overall well-being. Respond promptly to resident calls and requests for assistance, demonstrating patience and a helpful demeanor. Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other care team members to ensure a holistic and person-centered approach to resident care. Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, or Administrator, contributing to the smooth operation and excellent care provided by our facility. Qualifications for a Resident Assistant: High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a vital part of a collaborative team environment. Basic computer knowledge for charting and communication. Previous long-term care or caregiving experience is preferred but not strictly required; we encourage passionate and dedicated individuals to apply!
