Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average. The Senior Buyer drives purchasing and procurement activities within the procurement operations area. This position is responsible for following the procurement processes and systems to support activities related to sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions. Primary Responsibilities: Fully involve and assist Procurement Ops lead in the design, implementation and testing of new ERP system (NetSuite) Participate procurement systems upgrade/configuration (Coupa) and its integrations with contract tool(Agiloft), and ERP system Work closely with other business partners including accounting/finance team, legal, and other stakeholders Ensure Compliance to company guidelines, SOX requirements, and company policies in procurement processes Provide reports and metrics to Finance and stakeholders Assist Accounts payable on their monthly/quarterly closing activities Develop and uphold a comprehensive technical understanding of the industry and procurement procedures Other ad hoc analysis and project such as third party risk vendor assessment Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement systems/operation area. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered. MS Excel skill (required). Coupa and NetSuite experience Key Candidate Skills: Willing to continue improving analytical skills and grow additional finance reporting skills Demonstrates self-confidence and integrity in challenging work environment Strong understanding of financial concepts and procurement processes Excellent written and verbal communication as well as MS Office proficiency Ability to solve problems, and optimize purchasing processes Ability to work independently Ability to assist others to solve issues regarding purchasing operations Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Must be able to travel domestically on occasion Physical Requirements: This role involves regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment. The employee may also need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and maintain visual, verbal, and auditory communication in a standard office environment and while working independently from remote locations. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. This position requires the ability to travel independently overnight and/or work after hours as required by travel schedules or business needs. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance.
