Role:  Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description:
A Senior Electrical Engineer position responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex electrical systems in semiconductor and mission-critical facilities, providing technical leadership for power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee electrical design packages and provide technical leadership
• Perform quality reviews and manage complex design processes
• Prepare technical specifications and construction documents
• Lead project meetings as Electrical discipline lead
• Interface with clients, owners, and contractors
• Conduct voltage drop, arc flash, and load flow calculations
• Review vendor submittals and perform site punch walks
• Develop innovative solutions for complex electrical challenges
• Guide team members and ensure design quality

Skills and Qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain Idaho licensure
• 10+ years experience in building electrical design
• Expert knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Proficiency in SKM PTW, EasyPower or similar modeling software
• Experience with electrical equipment specification and selection

Preferred:

• Semiconductor/Data Center facility design experience
• 2+ years experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software
• Strong project leadership capabilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in cleanroom environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects
• Strong client relationship skills

Role Details:

Location: Boise, ID

Pay: $48-$73/hr
