Job Details

• Plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
• Perform all functions at a pace and level consistent with job performance requirements.

Job Requirements

• Ability to conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews.
• Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques for individuals in caseload.
• Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.
