About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management with a clear path to a Chief Operating Officer role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic oversight of a national multifamily portfolio, driving asset performance, and leading all aspects of asset management, including financial reporting, budget reviews, and investor updates. This role also involves mentoring and managing the asset management team, as well as partnering with acquisitions and finance teams on various real estate decisions. In addition to asset management, the VP will gradually take on corporate operations, HR, and team development responsibilities, serving as a trusted leader and shaping a strong, collaborative company culture. Applicants must have a minimum of 20 years' experience in real estate, with a focus on multifamily asset management, and a proven track record of leadership. A deep understanding of asset-level financials, investor reporting, and capital planning is essential, as is exposure to corporate operations and HR management in a small- to mid-sized firm. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or advanced credentials preferred. The position is full-time and in-office, based in Atlanta, GA.
