This position reports to the Manufacturing and Warehouse Supervisor and will work in Huntsville. Dometic Marine's facility in Huntsville, AL specializes in mobile power solutions and manufactures engine ignition replacement parts, DC charging systems, and battery monitoring systems for boats. This position is first shift, Monday - Friday in a clean, climate-controlled environment.About the positionAs an Electronics Technician of the Huntsville team, you will be involved in testing, troubleshooting to the component level, and repairing of electrical systems, equipment, and assemblies.Your Main ResponsibilitiesMay include root cause analysis of component and systems failures, test execution and data collection, and designing and implementing product testing infrastructure.The Electronics Troubleshooter may work with engineering on new product development and tester repair and design.The Electronics Troubleshooter must be able to document corrective actions and preventative actions, as well as work/test instructions.Troubleshooting is performed utilizing drawings, schematics, and tools which include DMM, oscilloscope, function generator, and other test equipment.The Electronics Troubleshooter will assist production as needed.Duties must be performed timely and accurately, with clear communication as appropriate, in a safe manner that achieves department productivity, quality and cost targets, all while maintaining good housekeeping using the principles of 5S.What do we offer?You are offered an interesting role in a dynamic, fast paced and global environment with great opportunities to grow and take on new challenges.
